The Watercar

THE WORLD'S FASTEST AMPHIBIOUS VEHICLE
Is it a Jeep? Is it a speedboat? No, it's WaterCar's Panther amphibious vehicle!

Recreational amphibious vehicles are nothing new, but most of them are self built and tend to be either boats that can creep on land, or cars that slosh slowly through water.

Introducing ... the Panther. WaterCar says the Panther will do an impressive 80-plus mph on the road and 44 mph (38 knots) on the water. It will even tow a wakeboarder or skier!

The price? Around $135k .... but hey, you save the moorage!

The Ostrich Pillow

NEED A POWER NAP?
So you are tired, but you're out and about, your comfy bed hours away? And you don't mind to look ... well ... like some sort of an alien? In that case we found the perfect solution for you: The Ostrich Pillow! It blocks out noise and light to create a quiet micro environment. Fits snugly over your head and neck and has large openings for the nose and mouth. Those "ears?" That's actually sound mufflers and they serve as a place to tuck hands while leaning forward ("sleeping on your desk").

THE LILY

THE CAMERA THAT FOLLOWS YOU
"No setup required. Just throw Lily in the air to start a new video.
It's that simple."

This, my fellow followers, is uber-cool! Lily is the world's first throw-and-shoot camera. Born in the University of California (Berkeley's robotics lab), you simply toss the device into the air, and its four propellers send it flying up to speeds of 25 miles per hour as it takes high-quality photos and videos.
Unlike other drones, the Lily Camera requires no controller as it follows the wearer's bracelet. The camera follows the user via GPS tied to a bracelet, which communicates distance, position and speed back to the camera.

The company's pre-order price is $499, and first deliveries are expected in February 2016, after which the price will jump to $999.

The Sidewinding Circular Skates

Part Skateboard, Part Roller Blade ... Back to the Future?

Marty McFly would have loved them! These skates are propelled by leaning side to side, allowing you to glide along as if riding a skateboard without pushing off the ground.

Riders simply place their feet on the two platforms and lean side-to-side to rotate the rubber wheels around the feet, propelling riders forward in a serpentine motion similar to longboard skateboarding. Since the wheels are not connected, riders can easily perform 720° spins and turn on a dime, while stopping is achieved by placing toes on the ground.

The wheels are 10" in diameter, allowing them to traverse short grass and dirt surfaces. The included extendable rod can be connected to both wheels, providing stability to novices and hastening the learning period.

Hisy

The Bluetooth Smartphone Remote Control
"Let me take a selfie!"

No doubt, the smartphone has become the #1 camera in the world. And how many times a day do we find ourselves ... or see people ... taking that special selfie with whatever is in your background. Only - once in a while your arm is simple too short, right? In comes ... one of those simple ideas we all wish we had first: The Bluetooth Smartphone Remote Control.

There are several models out there, but we like the "HISY" the best. Why? It's small, it looks cool and it is super easy to use.
You just pair it once and from there, every time you activate the camera, you can take a photo – or start and stop recording video – just by pressing that same button. No app is required, and you can still use the phone's onscreen shutter release button when preferred.

Crealev Floating Lamps

The Magic of Magnets
No, this is not an illusion. The only thing between the shade of this lamp and its base is ... air.

What makes this lamp floating is  a cleverly camouflaged magnetic disc that floats more than an inch above the base and supports the lightweight lamp shade. The Crealev lamps, designed by Angela Jansen and manufactured and distributed through Crealev, also employs the very latest LED technology for a very low power consumption. And with a touch of your fingertip, the lamp can be dimmed to the intensity you require.
