Introducing ... Bellperre (Netherlands) who just recently released their "Touch" cellphone.
The Touch is made from 316L stainless steel and features a 4.9 inch display
covered by sapphire crystal. Customers can order their device by
choosing from American buffalo or alligator leather in a variety of
colors (Bellperre says it has plans to produce the handset in 73 different colors, which is pretty impressive). The leather strip below the device’s display will also offer
touch controls.
The specs...
1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 48GB of built-in memory. The screen
of the device is a 4.9” Super AMOLED unit with a resolution of 1280 x
720 pixels.
Camera: 8MP with 1080p recording, coupled with a 1.9MP front-facing camera. NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and LTE
138.0 x 69.4 x 9.4 mm, 166 grams. The phone utilizes a micro-SIM card
slot.
Bellperre is offering the Buffalo version for a price of $3,000 / €2,646
while the Alligator Skin goes on sale for $3,430 / €3,026.
You think that's a lot? Well, compare it to a Vertu which usually sell for $20,000 / €17,644
and up.It's the price of being ... different ;)
